Funeral Director Jane Bennett from Bennetts Funeral Directors joins Jan Scott from SFH, Steve Willoughby, and presenter, Mike Porter at Phoenix Radio to discuss the importance of talking about dying and death.
The way we talk about dying matters
Talking about death and dying should be a normal conversation without the taboo that surrounds the subject, so that families can offer guidance and share information with one another. This for example could relate to end of life care, or funeral wishes, so that everyone receives the support they need or are able to honour wishes of those that have died.
Promoting Dying Matters Awareness week which runs from 6th to the 12th May, Jane encourages all communities to get talking in whatever way, shape or form works for them. Because the way we talk about dying matters.

Enjoy free refreshments, holistic treatments and giveaways as well as speaking to local experts regarding matters such as funeral services, will writing, and caring for loved ones.
