Deciding who should benefit

One way to celebrate the life of a loved one is to ask family and friends to make a charitable donation at their funeral service. People usually select a charity relating to the deceased for example, a local hospice that they stayed at, or a charity linked to their cause of death. If you are posting an obituary, the details of a chosen charity can be mentioned in the text.

Making an online donation

Our Donations and Obituaries service, enable family and friends of the deceased to donate in their memory to their chosen cause.

Making a memorial donation

Our funeral directors, will collate all monies on your behalf and send them off to the selected charity. We will, for every donation received, send a thank you reply, on behalf of the family. We can only accept cheque donations which should be made payable to the selected charity. Bennett’s provides this service free of charge.

If you would like to make charitable donations in memory of a loved one, please enclose a note saying who the charitable donation is in memory of and who it is from. Please download the Gift Aid Donation Form to be completed and enclosed before sending to either:
