Caring for your loved one in our Essex funeral home
One of the undertakers services offered by our highly trained team at Bennetts Funeral Directors Essex, is to support bereaved families during a terribly emotional time and this begins by bringing your loved ones into our care. It is important that you contact your local funeral director so initial arrangements of care can be made.
When you contact Bennetts Funeral Directors in Essex to make funeral arrangements, this procedure will begin with you giving us some preliminary details concerning your loved one.
It is possible that the last time you saw your loved one may have been a very distressing memory, perhaps in hospital or for the purposes of identification. We would like you to be confident that we will do our upmost on your behalf, to present your loved one as best we can. Relatives and friends often wish to visit the deceased and pay their respects before the day of the funeral. We can arrange viewing at our chapel of rest on request. The person who is planning and arranging the funeral will be given the choice on whether the deceased should be dressed in their personal clothes or in a shroud. When you visit the chapel of rest, you are more than welcome to bring photographs, letters, cards or flowers to place in the coffin. Our chapels of rest are tastefully decorated and some have an area where photographs and memorials may be placed.
If you would prefer your loved one to rest at home, we suggest that you allow us to bring the deceased into our care and then return them home once all the necessary preparations have been made.
Whatever your wishes, when arranging an Essex funeral Bennetts Funeral Directors are here to support you, and our promise to you is that your loved one will, at all times be looked after with the due care and respect they deserve.
