Diamond Jubilee Tea Dance Concert

Sunday 27th May 4pm – 7pm

This took place and if you missed it………….it was AMAZING!

The Dawn Chorus singers really were fantastic, and the afternoon tea was scrumptious! If ever another one of these is arranged you really should try and come along. A great afternoon was had by all and we made in the region of £600 for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Sutton Hoo!

The bereavement group trip to Sutton Hoo was most successful, I think due to the fact that, for once, Jane had got the weather right! We had smooth journeys both ways, it was very well organised by The National Trust, lovely cakes, a beautiful outlook, fascinating exhibition and interesting guides. There was a little raucous element to the day, I think that I will never get on a coach again without remembering Val’s comments!

Here’s to the next outing.

Gibberd Garden, Harlow

June 20th 2012, Meet at 2.30pm self drive. Please let Janet/Jane know who wishes to go and visit the lovely sculpture garden and enjoy a cream tea.

Copped Hall, Epping

July 4th 2012, Again, self drive. Jane has booked this as a private tour, however they will only do this if we have over 20 people attending, if we do not get this number we may have to cancel. Wine tasting, watch this space!

Afternoon Tea at the Black Horse

Monday to Saturday served from 2-5pm. A selection of traditional sandwiches in multi seed bread to include Roast chicken and bacon, cucumber and cream cheese, prawns with marie rose sauce.
