Doves

There is no way to say goodbye to a loved one, and sometimes, words just aren't enough.  But some comfort can be found in the symbolic gesture of releasing the departed's spirit and watching it fly away on the wings of a dove, free, at peace, and carrying all the love of family and friends.

True Dove Ways offers an affordable Funeral Dove Release service, carried out by experienced handlers, who will dress appropriatley and will do all they can to carry out the family's wishes.

Book of Condolence

Between making the necessary arrangements and the funeral service itself, the family can often struggle to recall the many friends and family members who gathered to pay their respects and commemorate the life of their loved one. Here at Bennetts we offer a range of Condolence Books which can be filled with either text, lined or plain paper. Pages can be completed with details of your loved one, service details and pages for family members and friends to complete by sharing their special written memories. This also becomes a special keepsake for the immediate family and for future generations.

Covers available in Burgundy, Dark Green, Dark Blue or White. Available with Church Window, Parkland, Rose design or wording for example, Celebration of Life.

 We can also offer a Military Book of Condolence designed specifically for both serving members of the armed forces and ex-servicemen.  These can contain a window for  photograph, medal or regimental badge.


   

For babies and young children we can offer ‘Our Little Angel’ Book of Condolence which is a white leatherette cover with silver foil detail, containing heavy white stock interior pages.  Each page features a crayon drawing or character, suitable for ages from birth to six years old. 

In Memory Donations

As well as, or in lieu of floral tributes, you may like to request donations in memory of a loved one to be left to a specific charity.

At Bennetts we can collate all monies on your behalf and send of to the selected charity.  We will, for every donation received with a legible address, send a letter from us on behalf of the familty to thank them.  Cheque donations only can be received and should be made payable to the selected charity.
