I was quite nervous about making an appointment to talk about my funeral - to be honest I kept putting it off - but the Funeral Director soon put me at ease and we even had a few laughs.

Cost of Dying Survey September 2011
The result of the fifth Sun Life Direct Cost of Dying Survey, published in September 2011, shows that the cost of an average funeral has now reached £3091.00 - an increase of 61% in seven years and that one in five people are struggling to pay funeral costs.
